Machine manufacturer Carl KRAFFT & Söhne GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1870 as an iron foundry and mechanical engineering company. Krafft is a medium-sized family-run company with 100 employees across two sites in Düren. Since 1980, the expertise acquired by building machinery for producing paper and cardboard has been redirected into the manufacture of rollers, making us a specialist in rotationally symmetric components. KRAFFT manufactures turned parts of up to 5500 mm in diameter and 15, 000 mm in length, thereby entirely fulfilling the requirements of many sectors. KRAFFT is one of Europe's leading roller manufacturers. The paper industry remains a core element of KRAFFT products, while service is an important area of business alongside roller manufacturing. Our team of experts is also on hand to support projects to overhaul, extend and modernise existing paper and cardboard systems.
