Manufacture and distribution of peppermint oils, menthol and other essential oils for the confectionery industry, the chewing gum sector and other related areas of industry. Established by Alfred Schierholz in Hamburg Altona in 1950, we are a family company that is now run by the third generation of the same family. Further to the existing sites in Hamburg Volksdorf and Ahrensburg, a new facility was built in Bad Oldesloe in 1993, which is now home to the company eskage eskamint Schierholz GmbH. Jürgen Schierholz has been at the helm of the family business for over 40 years, and in 2016 he was joined by his daughters Kirsten and Berit Schierholz in supporting managerial roles. Our products find applications in many different sectors, including cosmetics, household, care products (human and animal), textiles, feed, consumables, oral hygiene and wellness. We also strongly believe in individuality and offer more than simply our standard product lines. We are guided entirely by our customers' wishes.
