The Hydrogen and Informatics Institute of Applied Technologies, or HIAT gGmbH, was founded in August 2002. Together with small companies and the industry, we provide a scientific basis for the development and optimisation of innovative products in the areas of fuel cells and hydrogen technology. HIAT is not dependent on companies or industry and, in addition to selling its own products, carries out research, development and technology transfer in relation to current and future-oriented topics via research projects initiated by the public and as part of industrial contracts. The new centre was set up on the site of the Research and Technology Park in Schwerin. HIAT strives to further expand its position in the area of hydrogen and fuel cell technology. The development of core components for fuel cells and electrolysis cells in particular is experiencing high demand and enjoying a positive market position.

Entering the sector with diaphragm pumps (AODD) in 2002, Günalsan Pompa was founded in Istanbul with the goal of making contributions to our country in industrial areas. Since the day our company was founded, we have strived for extending the range of products available, and we have been offering solutions with different pump types that can serve different areas of usage. Besides manufacturing AODD, Geer, plastic acid, and vacuum pumps, Gunalsan Pompa operates in importing vacuum pumps, blowers, submergible pumps, and lobe pumps. We are also a distributor of product lines of foreign origin besides the goods we produce ourselves. We offer all the products we make ourselves with the brand name of HUGE PUMP to our customers. BURRE HYDRAULIK GMBH

Founded in 1964 by Karl-Heinz Burre (Dipl.-Ing.), Burre Hydraulik began operations in 1965. The original idea of an engineering office was quickly rejected and its own small manufacturing facilities began. The first developments comprised control valves for hydraulic excavators, explosion-protected solenoid valves and diaphragm valves. In 1972, the company moved into the newly constructed production hall on the site on which Burre Hydraulik's headquarters still stand today. A 540 m² production area allowed more space for putting the founder's innovative ideas into practice. Burre Hydraulik thus designed and produced items including explosion-proof solenoid valves for the refuelling systems of diesel locomotives belonging to Deutsche Bahn. But Karl-Heinz Burre realised quickly that the future lay in hydraulic control systems and equipment, and he orientated the company accordingly. He accepted the challenge here and often entered uncharted technical territory. He therefore had a significant influence on the automation of machinery for the textile industry. But he was also successful in other technical areas. For example, he developed an automatic scuttle for seagoing vessels. The production area also grew consistently in line with this development, and is now over 5000 m².
